It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Runkle (Middletown, Pennsylvania), born in Chester, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 17, 2019, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Bateman and Myrtle Bateman (Coover). She is survived by: her husband Steven C. Runkle; her children, Andrew C. Runkle of Washington, Sara J. Runkle (Kirk N. Ruff) of York and Stephanie R. Cahill (Chris Cahill) of Fairfield, CT; her siblings, John Bateman (Joan) of Media, PA and Joan Hewlings (Chuck) of Bethany Beach, DE; and her grandchildren, Laiklyn J. Ruff, Thomas, Christopher, Brian Howell, Jake and Ella Cahill.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial.
