He was predeceased by: his parents, George Plott and Theo Hanshue Plott; his wife Anna M. Lehman Plott; and his siblings, Walter Plott, Myrtle Kaminksi and Anna Fager.
He is survived by: his children, Jan S. Deimler (Ross E.) of Harrisburg, Jill A. Habig (Dennis F.) of Jim Thorpe and John F. Plott, Jr. of Hummelstown; his grandchildren, Andrea of Sahid, D. J., Dan, Dave and Haley; his great grandchildren, Khaliya, Adler and Caden; and his siblings, George Plott, Jr., Lois Plott of Middletown, Dawn Schramm of Middletown and Cass Krodel of Middletown.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial contributions be sent in John's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
