He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Elmer Epler and Lurene Mae Brinser; and his wife Wilma Ann Smiley. He is survived by: his children, Katherine Epler Sharpless and Jay Michael Epler; and his grandchildren, Jack Sharpless, Evan Sharpless and Lily Epler.
