With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Hilda L. Hughes of Middletown, Pennsylvania, born in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Johanna Laukemann (Hahn) and Theodore Laukemann; her significant other Charles Curtis Hughes; her siblings, Theodore Laukemann, Jr. and Margaret Pennewell; and her grandson Charles Douglas Lutz.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Fritz (Mike) of Milton and Michele Lutz (Doug) of Middletown, PA; her brother George Laukemann (Gloria) of Alabama; her grandchildren, Heidi Sheaffer (Dennis) of Newville, Heather Fritz of Carlisle and Cody Lutz (Erin) of Dillsburg; and her great grandchildren, Logan and Arlene Deardorff of East Berlin.
