He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Elmont and Edith Elizabeth Harrison (Persing); and his wife Leola Lee Harrison (Matson). He is survived by: his children, Franklin P. Harrison, Jr. (Joanne) and Kristina Scott; his daughter-in-law Aimee Potteiger; his grandchildren, Austin Potteiger and Qwin Harrison; his stepgrandchildren, Justin and Jeanmarie Srogota; and his pet Bailey Mae.
