We are sad to announce that on August 17, 2020, at the age of 93, Edwin Shellenhamer (Middletown, Pennsylvania), born in Hummelstown, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Shellenhamer and Susan Shellenhamer (Wert); his wife Sarah Shellenhamer; his sons, David and Bryan Shellenhamer; and his siblings, Helen Foreman, Beverly Deppen, Norma Whisler, Faye Harman, Merle Shellenhamer and Albert Shellenhamer Jr. Edwin.
He is survived by: his children, Kenneth R. Shellenhamer of Middletown, Lora A. Laverty of Glenshaw and Bart L. Shellenhamer of Middletown; his daughter-in-law Judy Shellenhamer; his siblings, Lois Weaver and Barry Shellenhamer; his grandchildren, Ryan Colatta, Shannon Dell (Sean) and Kyle Laverty (Theresa); and his great grandchildren, Dallas, Taylor, Aubrey, Henley, Devin, Aiden and Olivia.
Social distancing and other Covid-19 precautions will take place during this viewing. Due to the current Covid-19 restrictions, the funeral service will be private after the viewing.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial contributions be made to the Evangelical United Methodist Church, 157 E. Water Street, Middletown or to Masonic Village Hospice, 98 Masonic Dr. Suite 101, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 .
