With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Charles J. Stare of Middletown, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Stoner Stare and Lester Stare; and his sister Anna Hepler. He is survived by: his significant other Judith S. Stare; his children, Terri Reed (John) of Harrisburg, PA., Patti Karper (Bruce) of Hummelstown and Mark Stare (Michelle) of Bel Air; his brother Harry Stare (Julie); and his grandchildren, Sean Reed (Rebecca) of Linglestown, PA, Daniel Reed (Marlana) of Hummelstown, PA, Jacqueline Thanos (Christopher) of Centreville, VA., Callissa Wolfe (Mike), Christopher Stare (Danielle) of Darlington, MD., Hayley Shearer (Nick), Andrea Stare of Bel Air, MD. and Chad Karper of Elkridge, MD.. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great-grandchild, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church (280 N Race St, Middletown, PA 17057). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
