He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles P. Barilla and Phyllis M. Barilla (Updegraff). He is survived by: his wife Sue Barilla; his children, Megan Sommer (Laszlo), Kelly Hurst (Norm) and Doug Carpenter; his grandchildren, Devon, Flynn Sommer, Tiler, Kody Hurst, Kyle and Douger Carpenter; and his sister Gaye Turpin (Irv).
