It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bonnie Blackwell of Middletown, Pennsylvania, born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 3, 2024, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Betty Wass (Zaring) and David Shadel; her husband Barry Blackwell; her stepfather Frank Wass; and her grandparents, Esther and Miller Huggins.
She is survived by: her daughters, Jennifer D. Blackwell of Middletown, PA., Jen Lauren of Elizabethtown, PA. and Bonnie; her brother Michael Shadel (Bobbi) of Dauphin, PA.; her close friend Diane Belicic of Marysville; her nieces, Christina Jorich (Daniel) of Dauphin, PA. and Dana Shadel of Medical Lake; her great-nieces, Mikenna, Hannah Jorich and Addison Burrell; and her pets, Oliver and Benjamin.
