She was predeceased by: her parent Charles M.; and her husbands, Harry L. Payne and William Newell. She is survived by: her parent Annamay Weaver Sassaman; her daughter Linda L. Wenner (Michael); her grandchildren, Jerry L. Bates (Shashank Gupta), Jody L. Bates (Tina) and Melinda K. Bates; her great grandchildren, Brittany, Kayla, Abby, Zack, Kaylee and Logan; her great great grandchild Malaya; her brothers, Earl W. Sassaman and John A. Sassaman; and also Middletown.
