He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Marianna J. Pirkey (Kell) and Edgar N. Pirkey; his wife Evelyn S. Pirkey; his sons, Ian S. and Ken S. Pirkey; his brothers, Harley Pirkey (Deborah), Gregg Pirkey and Timothy Pirkey; his uncle Donald Pirkey (Shirley); and his niece Lindsay Link.
