He is survived by: his wife Catherine C. Shaw; his children, Alexander G. Shaw, III, David B. Shaw (Kenda) and Barbara J. Hayes (Roger); his grandchildren, Jennifer (Robert), Lindsey, Jason, Brian, Kevin and Leanne; and his great grandchildren, Cole, Jason Jr., Gabriel and Jacob. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
