She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Haner and Florence Gleason (Crawford); her brother Charles E. Haner; her stepbrother Pat Collins; and her nephews, Chuck and Mike.
She is survived by: her husband James Roland Bockus; her children, James M. Bockus (Lisa) of Erin, NY and Jennifer L. Leach (Jimmie) of Wellsboro; her sister Annie Monroe of Elmira, NY; her aunt Jean Pier of Wellsboro; her grandchildren, Samantha, Joey, Parker and Hailie; and her stepgranddaughter Lauren Russen. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family suggest memorial contributions in Ellie's name be made to the Guthrie Corning Cancer Center, 2 Guthrie Dr., Corning, NY 14830.
