She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Lapoint and Evelyn Lapoint (Sweet); her brothers, Lynn, Larry, Keith and Greg Lapoint; and her daughter Suzette Heck.

She is survived by: her children, Victor Thomas (Rhonda) and Lynette Sutton (Shane Belknap). She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
