He was predeceased by: his parents, D. Richard Martin and Mabel Martin (Showalter); his son Jeffrey; and his brothers, Richard Jr. and Chester.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Martin (Frey); his daughters, Lynette of Siguatepeque, Lisa Martin (Curvin) and Laura Newswanger (Mike); and his sisters, Isabel Eby (Ronnie) of Hagerstown, Maryland. and Rosalie Eby (Leonard) of Hagerstown, Maryland.. He is also survived by seventeen grandchildren, one great-grandchild.
