He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Knieriem and Alice Knieriem (Lint); his brothers, Samuel, Irvin, Eugene Knieriem and Paul; and his great grandchild Ruby Jo Weigle.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Marie Knieriem (Shuck); his children, David Knieriem (Bonnie) of Meyersdale, Wayne Knieriem (Ginny) of Meyersdale, Sandra King (Roger) and Linda Heining (Charles); his grandchildren, Ginger Ackerman, Brandy Paulman (Michael), Jeremy Knieriem (Heather), Joshua Knieriem, Bradley Knieriem, Brianna Knieriem, Brooke Kindler (Corey), Benjamin King (Amber), Sarah Skeba (Steve), Mandy Freas and Jessica Freas; and his great grandchildren, Katrina, Gracie, Gavin, Aiden, Harper, Trenton, Kyle, Job, Carter, Maci, Bryce, Sophia, Lucias and Evelyn.
Due to Covid19 concerns, a private funeral service will be held for the family at Hostetler Church of the Brethren, with Rev. Irvin Ernst officiating.
