He was predeceased by: his close friends, Alf, Shane and Michael; and his parents, Paul Howsare and Phyllis Howsare.

He is survived by: his siblings, Denny (Judy) of Meyersdale and Christine Crutchley of Jefferson Md; his nieces and nephews, Bree Yoder (Randy) of Meyersdale, Chalyce Boyer (Austin) of Meyersdale, Autumn Crutchley of Jefferson Md, Paul, Buddy and Connor Crutchley of Jefferson Md; his great-nephews, Xander Howsare and Cole Yoder; and his pet Pierre.
