He was predeceased by: his parents, William Secrest and Myrtle Secrest (Ravenscroft); his wife Connie Phalin; his son Terry W. Secrest; his grandchild Tyra Taylor; and his siblings, Alice Noble, Karl Secrest, Hilda Streng and Betty Thompson.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Secrest Jr., Debra Taylor, Patricia Woullard (Douglas), Barbara Pritts (Randall) and Jerry Secrest; and his grandchildren, Lisa Fox, Theresa Brahler, Matthew Secrest, Justin Taylor, Ryan Whitacre and Alyson Sipple.
