He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Woolslayer and Elsie Woolslayer (Rosenberger); and his sister Beverly Brenner. He is survived by: his wife Helen Woolslayer (Glessner); his children, Kelley Ashton (Bill), Bethel Park, Bradley Woolslayer (Sara), Kurt Woolslayer (Wein), Dr. Lisa DeMers (George), Ryan Woolslayer and Cumberland; his grandson Mason DeMers (Megan); his children, William Ashton, Nathan Ashton (Kristen), Jessica Ashton, Trisha Wilson (Randy), Tyrone, Emily Ashton, Brenden Woolslayer, Kellisa McBride (Tyler), Helena Karlinski (Brian) of Buffalo, NY, Kelsey Steinringer and Kitzmiller; and his great grandchildren, Theo Ashton, Asher Wilson, Mia, Cooper Karlinski and Isabella Steinringer.
Viewing was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Meyersdale Church of the Brethren (112 Beachley St, Meyersdale, PA 15552). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
