He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth Elaine Hersch; his daughter Kimberly Ann Payne (Thomas); his parents, Nevin Rolandus Hersch and Mildred Virginia Hersch; his sister Marian Isabell Cantwell (Ralph); and his great grandchild Isaiah Cole Sanner.
He is survived by: his sister Mildred F. Heffern; and his children, Patricia Elaine Blanchard (Tom), Melissa Rae Sanner (Sam) and Nevin Wayne Hersch (Christina). He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 10 nieces and nephews.
