He is survived by: his wife Nancy E. Hetz (Greig); his children, Kathleen Petenbrink (Richard) of Wellersburg, Melvin II Hetz (Dana) of Meyersdale, Margaret Riley (Paul) of Meyersdale and James D. Hetz of Meyersdale; his grandchildren, Richard Petenbrink Jr. (Amanda), Melvin M. Hetz (Rebecca), Stephen Hetz (Danielle), Matthew Riley (Clarissa), Nicole Walters (Brad) and Justin Platt (Melissa); his great grandchildren, Bryson, Jacob, Jaxon, Briella Hetz, Leahana Walters, Kenleigh Platt, Kobe Platter, Alena Kucharczyk and Andrew Kucharczyk; and his siblings, Raymond, Marshall, Mary V. Murray and Dorothy Krause. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
