We are sad to announce that on June 16, 2019, at the age of 91, Jeanne Cross (Meyersdale, Pennsylvania), born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Dr. David James and Bertha Keener (Hess); her husband Dr. John C. Cross; her siblings, John Keener and Jane Tragesser (Robert Tragesser); and her sisters-in-law, Ada Jean Doriguzzi and Margaret Williams.

She is survived by: her children, Lawrence F. Cross (JoAnn) and Susan McIntosh (Thomas); her grandchildren, Alyssa Cross Shulke (Peter) and Spencer C. Cross (Haley); her great grandchild Harlyn Alice Shulke; and her sisters-in-law, Peggy Keener, Jessie Shirley and Mary Lenore Reeder.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Amity United Church of Christ, PO Box 97, Meyersdale, PA 15552.

We loved Jeanne's enthusiasm for fishing and our special bond between Jeanne and Vera, Eric (late) Ed, Sue, Eric Jr and Gracie and so many others here that had the privilege of knowing and spending time with Jeanne.
