It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henrietta Bako Pilat of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 26, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Patula and Edna Patula (Shick); her former husband Stephen Bako; her husband William A. Pilat; her son Attorney Paul F. Bako; and her sister Juniata Patula (Loretta Keohan).

She is survived by: her son John M. Bako (Shelly); her brother Thomas Patula (Elaine); and her granddaughters, Cara Elizabeth Bako and Jillian Grace Bako. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
