It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Hazel Swauger of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, born in Friendsville, Maryland, who passed away on September 24, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Sliger and Rhuie Sliger (Fazenbaker); her husband Dale Swauger, Sr.; her children, David Wayne Swauger, Earl Ray Swauger and Karina Marie Swauger; and her siblings, Carroll Sliger, Lavada Detrick and Darlene Titchnel.
She is survived by: her children, Dale Swauger, Jr., Garland Richard Swauger (Terri), Albert Calvin Swauger of Boynton, PA, Clayton Edward Swauger (Kelly), Kimberly Kaye Thomas (Earl) of Salisbury, PA and Mary Elizabeth Pritts (William) of Salisbury, PA; her sister Rita Hoover; her grandchildren, Heather Brant, Matthew Thomas, Christopher William Gloe Pritts, Shawn Pritts, Tyler Swauger and McKenna Swauger; and her great grandchildren, Jacqueline, Selene and Preston Brant.
