He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Norris and Pearl Garlitz (McKenzie); his son Douglass Garlitz; and his brother Miles Garlitz. He is survived by: his wife Linda Diana Garlitz (Yutzy); his sons, Jason Garlitz (Sonja) of Aliquippa, PA, Jesse Garlitz of Meyersdale and Adam Garlitz of Meyersdale; his brothers, Arnold Garlitz (Debbie) of Avilton, MD, Allen Garlitz (Edie) of Eckhart, MD and Clay Garlitz (Connie); and also Helen Gilpin (Richard) of Girard, OH..
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Greenville Lutheran Church (2706 Greenville Rd, Meyersdale, PA 15552). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
