It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alma Jane Lauver of Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2025, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy T. Hare and Jennie Jane Hare Phenicie (Harding); her husband J. Gene Lauver; and her brother Thomas R. Hare. She is survived by: her sons, Jay G. Lauver (Vicki) and David O. Lauver (Karen); her grandchildren, Eric Lauver (Rie), Brooke Griffith (Chantz), Ryan Lauver, Emily Lauver and Kolbi Martz (Cody); her great grandchildren, Alex Lauver, Aaron Lauver, Cannon Griffith, Dake Griffith, Gauge Nedrow Martz and Aurora Martz; her sister Joan Zavala; and her half-brother Ted Hare. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Meyersdale Volunteer Fire Dept. or Amity UCC.
