He was predeceased by: his father Wilson Barto, Sr.; his brother Wilson Barto, Jr.; and his nephew Kyle Shoemaker. He is survived by: his mother June Barto (Reinmiller); his sister Gwen "Wendy" Shoemaker (Brent); his nieces, Lynn Bongiovanni (Jake), Brittany Shoemaker and Macall Barto; and his close friend Diana Loera Laris.
