James L. Kernan Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 7, 2020, at the age of 98, James L. Kernan Sr. of Meshoppen, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ann (Keogh) and Thomas Kernan; his wife Helen Ann Blaha; and his sisters, Elizabeth Bond, Doris Monske and Ellen Hibbard.
He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie Muller (Dean), James, Jr. (Janet), Chris (Cindy), Douglas and Paul; his grandchildren, Matt Kernan and Nicole Shirk (Matt); and his great grandchildren, Rooney of Indianapolis and Charley of Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, 245 State St. Wyalusing, PA 18853 or the American Legion Post 510, Black Walnut River Rd, Laceyville, PA 18623 where Jim loved to dance and visit with friends.
