He is survived by: his wife Patricia Cuddy Corter; his parent Alvina Akers; his son Andrew Jr.; his wife Trisha; his daughters, Karrie (Gary), Shannon (Ryan) and Ashley; his siblings, Daniel, Walter, Jacob, James, Diane, Loretta, Henreita and Mary; and also Matthew (Jessica). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews.
