Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Loretta Ruth Platos of Merrittstown, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 92, on January 9, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paulina Sandala and Michael Sandala; her friends, Joann Gaskill and Charlotte; her husband John C. Platos; her siblings, Maryanna (Carlisle) and James (Billie); and her nephew James.
She is survived by: her brother Richard (Shirley); and also, Laura Buckel (family: Paul III), Charlie, Jacob (Katie), Arlo, Birdie, Julianne (Michael), Siena, Joshua, Emily and Jonathan.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kish-Fabry Funeral Home (19 Legion St, Republic, PA 15475). A prayer was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Mary's R. C. Church (61 N Mt Vernon Ave, Uniontown, PA 15401).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Vincent DePaul Store in Uniontown, PA.
