In loving memory of Thelma G. Shelly of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, who departed this world on December 30, 2024 at the age of 100. Thelma leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bruce H. Garland and Helen Beck Garland; her husband Glenn O. Shelly; her son Alan Shelly; and her siblings, Mary Jane Mellott, Clara Smith, Darlene Mentzer, Harold Garland and Julia Carbaugh.
She is survived by: her daughter Mala Jean Raubenstine (Robert) of Hanover, PA; her daughter-in-law Sherre L. Shelly (Miller); her brother-in-law Dave Carbaugh; her grandsons, Jeffrey Shelly, Justin Shelly, Jeremy Shelly and David Raubenstine (Lisabet); and her great grandchildren, Grayson Shelly and Axel Raubenstine.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Kasiesville Bible Church (12639 Fort Loudon Rd, Mercersburg, PA 17236). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the First United Methodist Church of Mercersburg, or Kasiesville Bible Church.
