It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard L. Zeis of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Fort Loudon, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George E. Zeis and Eliza Catherine Kaetzell Zeis; his wife Joyce N. Zeis; and his siblings, George Zeis, John Zeis, Nancy Zeis, Ruth Hamilton, Verna Youse and Helen Sipes.

He is survived by: his children, Candy Middaugh, Timmy Zeis Sr. (Charlotte), Crystal Heefner and Greg Zeis (Sharon); and his siblings, Dan Zeis, Roy Zeis and Esther Graham. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
