He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold M. Meyers and Verda D. Meyers (Wingert); and his brother Melvin Meyers. He is survived by: his wife Mazie J. Meyers (Hawbaker); his children, Julie A. Washabaugh (Michael) and D. Andy Meyers (Sarah) of Greencastle, PA.; his grandsons, Ryan Washabaugh, Brett Meyers, Corey Meyers and Spencer Meyers; and his sister Mae Mowery.
