It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Freddie Marks of Mercersburg, Pennsylvania, born in Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph H Marks and Marian R. Marks (Smith); and his siblings, Robert Marks (Bobby), Joseph Marks, Jr., Reginald Marks (Butch) and Carolyn Shaffer (Tater).

He is survived by: his wife Barbara D. Marks; his children, Darryl R. Marks (Danielle) and Regina L Marks-Lee (James); his grandson Sean C. F. Marks; and his siblings, Steven Marks, Virginia Jenkins, Marian Mattress (Robyn), Delores Price, Nancy Jones, Catherine Dawson (Jackie), Charles Marks (Eddie) and Philip Marks (Wayne). He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
