She was predeceased by: her parent Irvin Witter; her former husbands, Harold G. Smith and Albert Metcalfe; and her brother Howard Witter. She is survived by: her parent Helen Miller Witter; her spouse Albert Metcalfe; her children, Vivian L., Bowers, Shippensburg, Twyla M., Strite, Suzanne K. Metcalfe, Greencastle, Dale I. Metcalfe (Shirley), Miles, Gary E. Metcalfe, Mercersburg Metcalfe and Larry E. Metcalfe (Donna); and her sister-in-law Geraldine Witter. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Greencastle Church of the Brethren (Women's Fellowship) or the MMP&W Fire Company.
