He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William E. Sanders, Sr. and Bertha Mae Sanders (Messner); his wife Amy Sanders (Bigham); his children, Mark Sanders, Kevin Sanders (Nadine) and Alison Luger (Mike); his stepdaughter Jennifer Carmichael; his grandchildren, Dillon Sanders, Clay Sanders, Russell Singhas and Mali Luger; and his siblings, Becky Wirt (Bill), Susan Adams (Jeff), James Anthony (Tony) and Lisa Ammenhauser (Rick). He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Mercersburg American Legion Post 517.
