She was predeceased by: her parents, George Albert Capel, Sr. and Elsie Amelia Capel (Dawson); her husband Ralph Winters; and her brothers, George Capel, Jr., James Capel and William Capel.
She is survived by: her boyfriend Tate Jenkins; and her sisters, Betty Glaze, Shirley Jenkins, Patricia Scott, Mary Grant (Gary) and Martha Delawder (Ray). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
