He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas C. Howard and Beulah Nolsheim Howard; and his brother Thomas P. Howard. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Kennedy Howard; his children, Ronald F. Howard, II and Christyan K. Allan (Christopher J.); and his grandsons, Ronald F. Howard, III, Matthew C. Howard, Nathaniel J. Allan and Aiden J. Allan.
