He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Bossong and Adelaide Bossong Sr. (Zapf); his wife Patricia M Bossong; and his brother-in-law James Porta. He is survived by: his children, Charles Bossong (Lisa), John Bossong (Jill), Patricia Bossong-Schwartz (Jeff Schwartz) and Robert Bossong (Yvonne); his grandchildren, Jordan (Collin), Alexandra (Jess), Lydia, Jacob, Charlie, Brandon, Ashley and Dylan; and his siblings, MaryAnn Porta, Deborah Belin (Dave) and Bryan Bossong (Amy). He is also survived by his 6 nephews.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation to help make Christmas joyous for children in need.
