With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Gerald Merritt of Mehoopany, Pennsylvania, born in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 21, 2021 at the age of 39. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parent Thomas Lee Merritt; his brother George Farr; and his grandparents, Gerald, Beverly Brown, Jack and Gladys Merritt.
He is survived by: his mother Deborah Louise Brown Merritt of Mehoopany, PA; his stepmother Lisa Merritt of Camptown, PA; and his siblings, Ashley Merritt of Mehoopany, PA, Tonya Merritt of Camptown, PA, Joshua Merritt of Camptown, PA and Erin Watkins of Camptown, PA.. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Thomas' name to the Sheldon Funeral Home, 459 Main St., Laceyville, PA 18623, to help with the cost of the services for Thomas.
