He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis V. Robinson and Mary Robinson (Stevens); his siblings, Allen, Arden, Ira Robinson, Bernice Goodwin and Laura Robinson; and his granddaughter Erica Robinson Dymond.

He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Robinson (Arrowood); his sons, Lewis B. Robinson, Joel C. Robinson, Adam T. Robinson (Denise) and Chandler M. Robinson (Lorrie); and his siblings, John, Randy Robinson, Barbara Smith and Rosemary Bellows. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
