We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2021, at the age of 86, Jessie L. Barber of Mehoopany, Pennsylvania, born in Tunkhannock, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Harry T. Barber; her parents, William Shiffer and Virginia Cook Shiffer; her son James Barber; and her siblings, William, Edward, Jimmy Shiffer, Alice Vorgin, Jean Misleavy and Lillian McKennas.

She is survived by: her children, Harry S., David (Joyce), Robert (Cathy), Terry (Tom), Donna Sherwood (Raymond) and Janette Barber; and her siblings, Glenn Shiffer, Betty Fargo and Doris Solanick. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren.
