She was predeceased by: her parents, Orrin E. Phinney and Evelyn Furman Phinney; her former husband James A. Simmers; her husband Joseph C. Fassett; her grandson Joseph A. Fassett; her daughter-in-law Beverly Simmers; and her siblings, Orrin E. Phinney, Jr. (Sonny) and Helen Valentine.
She is survived by: her children, Jack Simmers, Dan (Sherry), Art Simmers (Maura), Janet Voda (Andy), Judy (Tim), Wilma Gay (Doug), Norm Fassett, Bill Fassett (Tina) and Thirteen; her grandchild Fourteen; and her siblings, Fred Phinney, Bill Phinney (Lynda), Grace Ann Iffert, Tunkhannock of Joyce Place, IN, Betty Charland, Donna Latini, Janice (Dubois) and Lois Phinney. She is also survived by Fourteen Great Grandchildren; Seven Great Great Grandchildren.
