He was predeceased by: his parents, Dexter and Esther MacCall; his wife Shirley; his son William Jr.; and his siblings, Tommy, Jack, Bob and Geri Hamby.

He is survived by: his son Gary; and his grandson Steven.

Due to Covid restrictions, the family will hold a celebration of Bill's life in the spring.
