She is survived by: her children, Veronica Navazio, Ann Buchinsky, Maxine Sorensen Brock and Maximillain Sorensen (Carol); her sisters, Theresa Gravish, Alma Lomas (Roy) and Joanne Bickham; and her stepsons, Stephen Sanford and Scott Sanford. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

I got to know Veanie through our many family gatherings over the years, particularly birthdays for my grandmother Scott who lived to be 106. She was always so sweet, caring, thoughtful and pleasant.
