He was predeceased by: his wife Ernestine; his son Robert L. Ranson Jr. (Barbara); and his grandchildren, Emily Jane Ranson and Robert L. Ranson, III. He is survived by: his siblings, James, David and Ruby (Quillen). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews and their children.
