Paul J. Hewes Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2025, at the age of 67, Paul J. Hewes Sr. of Media, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brother Walt Hewes of Pearisburg, VA. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Duffy Hewes; his children, Eleanor Hewes (Dan Nocella) of Philadelphia, Paul J. Hewes, Jr. of Media and Catherine "Kate" Hewes (Brian Butterfield) of Phoenixville; his grandchild Rainer; and his siblings, Mary Ross, Helen Moran, Joseph Hewes, Noreen Gomez and Cathy Ceritano. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Nativity BVM Church (30 E Franklin St, Media, PA 19063). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Tyler Arboretum, 515 Painter Rd. Media, PA 19063 (tylerarboretum.org).
