He was predeceased by: his parents, Mwamufiya Bumba and Ihemba Felicité; his former wife Dr. Janet Regina Wozenski; and his brothers, Alexandre Usona, Ihemba Mwamufiya, Rémi Shakutunga Mwamufiya and Baudouin Kasopa Mwamufiya Makuba.
He is survived by: his wife Ivoire (Ivory Coast); his grandchildren, Imara Lewis, Kalimba Lewis, Inaya Lewis, Francesca Stedman and William Stedman; and his sisters, Louise Mujinga, Jina Mwamufiya and Clementine Kambinza Mwamufiya. He is also survived by his 4 children, 5 grandchildren, 2 sisters, many nieces and nephews and many friends.
