He is survived by: his father Hadden Smith; his wife Lois; his sons, Stephen and Timothy (Jacqueline); his grandchild River; his children, Michael, Kate (Zachary Baer) and Forest; his mother Roberta Smith; his brothers, Hadden (Janice) and Warren (Brenda); and his siblings-in-law, Priscilla (Eugene Pinero), Daniel George (Cindy), Stephen George, Andrew George (Amy) and Joel George (Carol). He is also survived by children; and many nieces and nephews.
