We bid farewell to Joseph McVeigh of Media, Pennsylvania, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on September 7, 2024 at the age of 74. Joseph touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, James McVeigh and Helen McVeigh (McCoy); his siblings, Margaret, James and Michael; and his brother-in-law Kevin Friel.
He is survived by: his wife Mary (Friel); his children, Maureen McVeigh Trainor (Patrick) and Joseph (Tytti); his grandchildren, Ossian, Samuel, Freya McVeigh, Patrick and Bridget Trainor; his sisters, Mary V. McVeigh and Kathy Casey; his nieces and nephews, Kathleen McDonald (Bob), Michelle Friel, Ryan (Kari), Colin (Cory), Amanda Irving, Molly and Dan Casey (Alexa); and his brothers-in-law, Ed Friel and Dan Casey.
A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Washington Crossing National Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 19th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Community Center in Media Borough Hall (301 N Jackson St, Media, PA 19063).
